The Staht Shear Test Rig is a modular accessory which works with either the Staht t25 or t60 load cell to verify the shear performance of anchors in construction substrates such as concrete and masonry.
The sliding head features a PTFE gasket to reduce friction, a key hole for observation of the substrate and a datum boss to allow displacement measurement.
The shear test chassis is designed to be mounted by 4 anchors into the substrate. Anchor spacing is based on typical UK/European brick centres.
The Shear Test Kit is provided in a robust Staht kit bag with all the necessary accessories to perform the shear test.
